CODA技术的起源始于1985年3月。最初由独立设计和工程咨询公司Continuum Electronics成立，由Eric Lauchli，B.D. Dale和Lorin Peterson，Threshold公司的研发和技术支持人员的前成员，后来是高性能固态音频电子的创新领导者。
1989年，Continuum更名为现在的CODA Technologies，Inc.，并开始生产自己的最先进的参考质量音频电子产品线。带有CODA徽章的第一款产品是FET前置放大器01.这种设计方法最终导致了创新的System 100和System 200放大器系统，该系统利用单独的机箱实现电压增益和电流级，从恶劣环境中提供卓越的电压增益电路隔离由高电流输出阶段创建。
1995年9月，Continuum电子公司的名字被复活成为姊妹公司，生产出一系列经济实惠，高性能，高价值的音频组件。 2005年末，组件的连续线被重新设计，演变成新的Coda“C Class”音频组件。这一战略举措巩固了Coda Technologies名下的所有产品，用于识别和产品品牌。

简要说明：CODA的放大器产品均采用独门的的Precision Bias(精密偏压)技术，在小功率下为甲类输出，大功率为甲乙类输出，对设计布局和零件的选用十分严苛，包括高速电源系统、全新V-MOSFET电压放大级与超低输出阻抗，如采用Mills特殊规格品作为射极电阻，IXYS 高速整流子、Black Gate、RelCap电容、Vishay电阻、Vampire OFC RCA端子，相对其它采用同样元件及档次的放大器品牌来说定价非常克制，性价比很高。CODA以其强悍驱动力和控制力在国际音响行业最为出名，基本可推动任何难推的音箱，音色温暖厚润，搭配丹拿、ATC、PMC等“大食”音箱性价比极高。
