正好这周一写了一封邮件给CH的老板 FLORIAN COSSY,咨询关于CH C1与它家前级L1的BNC连接的一些疑问,主要是询问BNC线连接的好处,与线材阻抗问题。结果一如既往地,FLORIAN同志当天就回复了邮件。现将回复的邮件节选一部分内容发出来供楼主参考,虽然与楼主询问的不是同一品牌, 但也希望能对楼主的问题有一些参考价值。
关于BNC线材的好处,及与其它连接方式的比较,FLORIAN是这么说的:”The BNC interface has been included as the connectors contacts are much better than RCA. whatever the quality is. But honestly the best connection between our units is XLR: all internal circuits are balanced and keeping a balanced connection between units helps to get rid of common-mode noise"。大意是无论BNC接头的质量如何,它比RCA好的地方是BNC接头与端口的接触远远比RCA好。但是,要说起最佳连接方式,他还是认为XLR是最好的方式(当然,这是对CH的器材而言)。
关于阻抗问题,他是这么说的:”The input impedance choice for input is basically a way to minimize HF noise to enter the units. Having a moderate input impedance instead of a high value means that the cable is less behaving like an antenna. This will benefit only if the source component is able to supply enough current to drive this load without adding distortion (all CH units are able to do it).
Into the audio frequency range, the cable impedance means about nothing as a 50 Ohm cable will probably be into the 200-300 Ohm range. The 50 Ohm value is correct from 1MHz and up.“这段话主要是解释CH的前级L1的菜单设置里有可以选择输入阻抗的选项,在什么情况下该选择高阻抗或低阻抗。最后一句话我觉得是比较有参考作用的,在声音范围,线材的阻抗是没有参考作用的,因为50欧姆(或75欧姆)的阻抗值只有在1MHZ以上的频率范围才会有正确的数值。
